About the Product
Kankana is Watermelon in Hausa. Watermelon is said to have originated in Africa some 5,000 years ago. It is 92% water, and is one of the only foods to be classified as both a fruit and a vegetable. It is also one of our favorite foods because it is healthy, delicious, and hydrating. We source our Watermelon seeds directly from our local communities in Northern Nigeria, then extract the oil in our hometown, Kano.
