About the Product
Zobo is Hibiscus in Hausa. Hibiscus flower comes in different colors with different meanings; Yellow for Joy and Sunshine; Red for Love and Passion; Pink for Friendship and Love (all types); and Purple for Mystery and Knowledge. We grew up drinking juice and tea made from Hibiscus flowers, which we call Zobo. We source our Hibiscus seeds directly from our local communities in Northern Nigeria, then extract the oil in our hometown, Kano.
