About the Product

Kwalba is Baobab in Hausa. Known as "The Tree of Life", Baobab is the largest succulent plant that lives up to 3,000 years. It stores life saving water in a landscape where little can thrive. The tree produces edible fruits, from which we make our Baobab powder that can be used in smoothies, face & body scrubs, or baking. We source our Baobab seeds directly from our local communities in Northern Nigeria, then extract the oil in our hometown, Kano.
